Work Week Workout! Jan. 29 – Feb. 2

Hey everyone, welcome to the first work week update! (these will start going up Friday night, but I slacked last week)


Today I had a half cup of almonds, which I’ve recently gotten into. I know, I’m the WORST fitness person, cause I had never had almonds until a guy at work was like YO try them, you’ll like them! And you know what, he was right. They’re so good (yay for salt!) and weirdly filling. As someone who can really stuff themselves, how full I can feel on almonds is weird. Alien technology? Maybe.

Side note, should I actually list what I eat. Is that weird? Would people read that and think “huh, this girl is obsessed with herself?” or would it help keep me intentional and on track? Am I thinking about this too much? Who freakin knows. Back to Monday!

Yall. I’m dying for sugar. And I already had a soda! Yes. I had a soda at like…7am. But I’m letting myself finish the cans of soda I had, and then not have anymore! So really the focus is not being wasteful. You’re welcome, Earth!


Both workouts today just caused me to feel super BLEH. I have no idea if its the lack of food, or the lack of water (what can I say, I’m the worst!) but something is for sure going on. I had my almonds after the first work out, as well as water after both…but tell you what, I need to be HYDRATED.


Guys. Today I feel so inspired. I did my morning workout and watching the calories slowly climb to 200 was awesome. I feel like I could just workout again and again all day. If my body didn’t sweat and I didn’t have to go back to work with parts of my clothes being gross…I’d be there right now! It’s weird feeling this pumped, even hours after working out. Is this the weird workout high that people are talking about? Who knows!



Today I pushed myself. I’m talking full on get it done, sweat your ass off for the full half hour. Although not gonna lie, I can’t go super hard on the elliptical AND drink water.

So accurate. But with bouncing.

The morning work out was great, as of yesterday I started changing clothes and today I actually brought a lock AND extra underwear. Cause you know…butt sweat. #RealTalk

Last day of the week! And in my last work out I only had 20 minutes and wanted to see how much I could burn if I super pushed myself for 10 minutes at a time. It’s my goal to hit 100 calories in 10 minutes, and after Friday I think its possible!


And that’s the whole week yall! All week I had a coffee drink or soda in the morning, and a 1/2 cup of almonds through out the day! Obviously my plan is to stop the coffee and soda, but keep the almonds!
